The housing complex sits outside the city limits of Pune near Bhor. The site consists three separate wings, which are linked by covered passage at slit level. The linear site compelled us to even design the building in a linear form. The units are facing north-east and south-west which brings the sunlight to enter inside.
The idea is to create a unit with every usable area considering urban life style and also provision for enhancement of the unit with various next generation facilities. The
first unit consists of two-bedroom apartments, the second wing consists of one-bedroom apartments and the last wing comprises of room-kitchen type of apartments four on each floor.
A series of balconies and terraces on the periphery of the apartments, nestled in the branches of the old Neem trees, provide space for private contemplation and act as a thermal buffer against the heat.
