The design concept was to create simple, yet elegant material palette with maximum multi usable spaces. The open plan with the visually organized spaces by flooring and ceiling pattern creates an interesting design. With the use of variety of materials and their conscious blending, the interior tries to incorporate Indian vibrancy within the contemporary style. A semicircular sit-out forms a transitional space connecting the space to its outside environment. A living space that merges with the garden, so that it almost becomes a part of it. The staircases of the house are defined by a sculptural element on its own. The puja room is a place for spiritual repose highlighted by daylight that penetrates from a skylight above. The house is designed with simple colors and appropriate material and portrays the aspirations of the client and his family.
