The projectis a showroom for exclusive quality sanitary ware fittings and materials. The showroom is mainly composed out of three main areas: the display of different sanitaryware fittings area which is linked to the other two, smaller and more private, meeting areas – one for the staff and the company’s important presentations and sessions and the other addressed to discussions with the clients. Leaving open, floating interior spaces was with a clear idea for sales – to exhibit and represent the interior and finishing materials.In general, the showroom has three different levels for display area on ground and first floor, the accounts and administration department is designed on second floor.

Gaurai Courts at Kolhapur

Gaurai courts is a mixed-use typology building which resides in Kolhapur.The brief aimed at mixed-use format, allowing for quality retail on the lower floors and residential units on the upper floors. The design idea was to create a simple, functional and responsive building that was not only efficient and sensitive to its surroundings, but also a piece of iconic architecture that reflected the city in spirit.The building takes on the shape of site to maximize the usable areas. The design intent to provide functional and usable rectangular floor plates for offices up to second floor; then residential units of one-bedroom are added up on one side of service core and other occupied by the offices.

Interior for Social Champs

The brief called us to design interior for a small corporate office with the basic amenities. The interior concept for the office design that creates a professional atmosphere with luxurious, simple and functional spaces. The space was carefully designed to make function and concept speak of one single language.The glass surfaces surrounding offices and meeting rooms provide visibility both into and out of the rooms. Thus, all spaces are naturally illuminated. A carefully picked out combination of materials and a consistent Corian finish to the furniture are leading elements in the office design. A soothing minimalistic color tone is combined with various colorful graphics and artwork, making the space a pleasant work environment.

R.K. Lakshman Memorial at Balewadi

Cartoonist, Illustrator, and Humorist R.K. Lakshman was best known for his creation “The Common Man”.This Memorial is a personal and collective structure that commemorates R.K. Lakshman Sir’s life. The project derives its geometrical form from two major sources; firstly, from the relatively connectivity of spaces and then to combine space to form a journey. Also, the journey depicted by the external skin or fins to portrait his works.

Olimpia Club at Pune

The Olimpia Club is nestled within the city limits of Pune comprising of almost 8 acres plot area.The club is a large complex comprising of cricket ground, indoor-outdoor sport area, swimming pool, gymnasium and yoga hall, salon and restaurant for leisure. The scheme seeks to allow thesporting elite and broader public to form a close interaction with picturesque natural surroundings. The cricket ground forms a focal point to the scheme, surrounded by an activity space, indoor sports, and park, whilst nooks and crannies throughout the building create natural informal meeting places. Particular attention was devoted to the cricket stadium as the center of gathering and interaction of local community.

Multi-purpose Hall at Kondhwa

It is a single standing structure alongside the old Katraj by-pass road, Kondhwa with mixed-use typology of plot area 1300sqm.The brief called us to design space of recreational activities like yoga, badminton, etc. The built form is evolved from the site shape, where the square mass includes the functional spaces and circular mass incorporates all the services of the structure. The key feature used are the jali patterns used in façade to represent traditional architecture with a contemporary approach. The structure gains its importance due to its monumental scale with respect to the contextual surrounding becomes an icon.

Multi-purpose Hall at Kundannagar

It is a single standing structure alongside the old Mumbai road with government offices and activity areas. The design brief stated to have professional offices and activity areas with basic services and parking for the users. The project was envisioned as a sustainable; expressing through its design and comfort; while the government office’s identity is redefined as a modern, responsible steward for the development.The building has free flowing interiors and a breathing façade envelope. The façade uses horizontal concave fins to break the box like form and act as a weather protection.

Optical Showroom For Mr. Barucha

It is a ground floor store with a narrow, six-meter façade on the street. There is also an upper floor for the eye checkup.The space is designed with retail display on both walls with traditional counters. The separation between vision and sun glasses in achieved through the materiality of the display surfaces and also adopted in the organization of the programmatic areas, like the cashier, the storage, the display benches, tables and surfaces.This “organic” continuity can be experienced not only visually, but also with our own body and touch while these forms, guide and funnel the visitor within the space. The décor depicts the legacy in a contemporary way.

Commercial Complex at Wagholi

The brief was to design a commercial building on a plot of 1400sqm. The plan is simple and linear with series of shops on each floor with their personal toilets. Other than the maximization of commercial square footage of the land located in a prime location, the main idea behind the exploration of form was to introduce a lively animated street frontage with the help of show windows. The play of vertical and horizontal lines breaks the monotony of the façade.
